CADDO COUNTY, Oklahoma
This is an unusual piece in that one end section is highly silicated and the other end of the same specimen is very poorly silicated - nearly solid iron. The silicates and iron are very poorly mixed; sort of a border line mesosiderite/silicated iron. This is closely related to lodranites.
